the Process
I am committed to a high-touch, one-on-one process, accepting only a limited number of clients at a time. If you know when you are moving, let’s book you in advance!
01. Let’s Talk Details.
First, there’s an initial one-hour phone consultation to discuss your project and decide which design service best fits its scope and your budget. Rather than fill out a questionnaire, you can articulate your lifestyle, discuss your wish-list and talk about your immediate and future goals.
02. Next, We’ll Take a Walk.
You’ll do the measuring and send photos of your space, the furnishings you want to keep, and special collections that will make your home yours. Then, we’ll do a virtual walk-around, outside and in, to get a 360 degree view of your space and sense of your lifestyle.
03. Inspiration Strikes.
Within two weeks, I’ll present several mood boards and design concepts to put you on the right track. Space planning is key to the project so I’ll also give you several floor plans in a digital format so you can actually see how to best use your space.
04. Bring it Home.
Once you decide on a solution, you’ll receive your Doorstep Design Box filled with a room rendering so you can visualize the final result; an easy-to-follow floor plan; fabric samples for you to touch and feel; paint swatches; and a shopping list of suggestions for layering your furnishings, lighting and artwork. Then, bring your space to life all at once, or over time.
Doorstep Design
Doorstep Design is an E-Design service that puts you in the driver’s seat. You are directly involved in the project. You decide how far you want to go, at your own pace.
Full Service Design
Full Service Design options offer you a complete design package, from initial concept to final installation.
Do you need a little more help? Are you looking for a more personal touch? With Full Service design options, you can sit back while I handle all the details from start to finish. I’ll oversee the big reveal and manage the installation and styling. And assistance is always available after move-in for a seasonal refresh.
